Christmas 2023/24
The university will be closed over Christmas from Thursday 21st Dec, reopening on Wednesday 3rd Jan 2024. Data Hubs: maps update
Our recent map updates have added an additional option in the 'Data item' menu 'ED attendances for Assault Injuries occuring in the home', an additional 'Data Theme' for 'Police stop and search' data, and we've added the option to allow data items to be selected by 'Year', 'Quarter', or 'Month'. We are however aware that the increased file size with these additional options has caused loading issues for some users, particularly when viewing geographies at the LSOA level. Therefore in the next data update we intend to split the map into 'current' and 'archived' versions, the current version of maps still includes annual data for the period 2018 onwards, however quarterly and monthly data will only be populated for the period 2021 onwards. Quarterly and monthly data prior to 2021 will be found in the archived version of the maps. Data Hubs: monthly update
Our monthly data update has now been completed, charts and maps now include monthly data from April 2018 to December 2021. Please see the 'date warehouse overview' panel on the hub dashboard for specific date ranges and data available within the separate data sources. Please be aware that as the number of records in the hub data warehouse continues to increase, you may experience occassional issues when using the "Load / Reload Report Data" button on the charts page. This is simply because a large amount of data is being requested in one go, the charts page may time out if a server response isn't received quickly enough. We are working on an enhancement to warn users when this happens, but in the meantime we suggest trying again or reducing the date range you are loading. Once the data is loaded to the page you should not experience any issues when viewing and filtering the data you have loaded.

Our apologies as an error occurred in our mailing list software and unfortunately it accidently addressed everyone as ‘Jane’, we'll aim to use your correct name in future (unless you're actually called Jane of course).

Please note that the police data set has been refreshed, and the new police data charts are currently in 'beta' format - we are working on further updates for these so please be aware that they are only published for testing and feedback purposes.

The hub dashboards for Wales and West Yorkshire are now live, after logging in you will automatically be directed to the dashboard for the area assigned to your user account. If you think you've been assigned an incorrect area please contact us to have your account updated.
